Classification: Patient Services Assistant Level 2 (PS25*) plus super
Fixed Night Shift with weekends available
Working exclusively in the Emergency and Radiology Departments
Working closely with clinical teams

The Team & Role
The Patient Services Assistant plays a key role within the Patient Services team, contributing to a safe, welcoming, and efficient environment for patients and visitors. This hands-on role supports a range of functions including patient care assistance, meal service, transport, ward support, and cleaning. Working closely under clinical direction, the role involves assisting with patient mobility and positioning, delivering meals in line with dietary requirements, transporting patients and equipment, maintaining ward supplies and equipment, and ensuring high standards of cleanliness and infection control. The position requires strong teamwork, communication, and organisational skills, along with a commitment to patient-centred care, safety, and continuous improvement.
