Administration Officer – Reception

This position requires an experienced Administration Officer to manage front‑of‑office tasks and be the first point of contact for residents, families, and visitors.

Location: Cooinda Aged Care, Gympie, QLD
Employment Type: Full time - Monday to Friday
Remuneration: $30.58 ph + Super + Salary Packaging + Staff Discounts & Benefits

About The Role:
This role is more than admin, it’s about being the first smile, first hello, and first point of support for residents, families, and visitors in our reception. We’re looking for someone who enjoys being at the centre of things, keeping the front office running smoothly while creating a welcoming and organised environment.

What You’ll Be Doing (day to day):

First point of contact for residents, families, visitors and contractors, delivering friendly and professional customer service.
Manage incoming calls, emails and enquiries, directing requests to the appropriate departments.
Provide reception, visitor management and administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the service.
Maintain accurate records, data entry, filing systems and confidential documentation.
Assist with admissions, bookings, appointments and general service administration.
Support accounts administration, including invoice processing and supplier enquiries.
Coordinate mail distribution, service communications and office correspondence.
Assist with rostering, record maintenance and audit administration support.
Monitor and order stationery and office supplies to maintain stock levels.
Build positive relationships with residents, families and stakeholders while promoting a welcoming environment.
