Officer Administration Wellbeing and Safety Training - Fixed Term, 12 months - Parttime 22 Hours PW

Remuneration: Annual salary commencing at $80,412 Pro Rata, plus up to 15% superannuation

Role Overview

Gympie Regional Council has an exciting opportunity for a parttime (22 Hours PW), fixed term position. The role supports the identification and coordination of wellbeing and safety training to help ensure people have the knowledge and skills to work safely and comply with safety requirements.

Essential Knowledge & Skills:

Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality customer service and effectively communicate with stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to use modern technology, and records management systems.
Demonstrated ability to manage time and set priorities to achieve a broad range of outcomes within defined parameters and with minimal supervision.
Queensland ‘C’ Class driver’s licence or above that is current and maintained.

Expected Deliverables:

Training Needs Identification: Identify wellbeing and safety training requirements through the Training Needs Analysis (TNA), including new and renewal training (gap analysis), as well as any additional needs identified by the Wellbeing & Safety team.
Training Planning: Assist in the development and maintenance of wellbeing and safety training plans by coordinating information, schedules, and documentation aligned to organisational and legislative requirements.
Training Procurement: Support procurement processes by sourcing training options, coordinating quotes and documentation, and assisting with the engagement of approved providers and RTOs.
Training Scheduling & Coordination: Coordinate training schedules, enrolments, venues, resources, and participant communications to support timely and efficient delivery of training activities.
Training Delivery Support: Provide administrative and logistical support for training delivery, including attendance tracking, participant support, training materials, and collection of feedback.
Records, Tracking & Reporting: Maintain accurate training and compliance records, update systems and registers, and assist with reporting and audit preparation.
Licence & Certification Support: Support the monitoring, verification, and renewal coordination of wellbeing and safety licences and certifications to maintain workforce compliance.
Continuous Improvement & Governance: Contribute to continuous improvement by maintaining documentation, supporting reviews, and assisting with governance, audit, and reporting requirements.
General Support: Support the Wellbeing and Safety team with administration as required
