Full Job Description

We’re seeking an experienced Service Coordinator to support our Cooinda Aged Care team with administration, workforce coordination, sales and occupancy management, helping create a positive experience for prospective residents and their families while contributing to the effective day-to-day operations of the service.

Location: Gympie - QLD
Employment Type: Full Time | Mon to Fri preferably 8:30 - 4:30pm
Remuneration: $38.28 ph + Super +Salary Packaging +Access to staff discounts & benefits

About The Role:
As a Service Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the service. Working closely with the Service Manager, you will provide high-level operational, administrative, financial, occupancy and governance support to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the site.

This is a diverse and rewarding role where you will coordinate administrative functions, oversee occupancy and admissions processes, support workforce compliance, and contribute to quality and financial outcomes.You’ll be a key point of contact for residents, families, staff and external stake holders, helping to deliver an exceptional experience for those who call our service home.

Responsibilities Will Include:

Lead and support the Administration Team, fostering a positive and collaborative workplace culture
Support recruitment activities, coordinate workforce administration processes and employee onboarding, including annual mandatory training compliance requirements.
Manage enquiries, tours, admissions, waiting lists and CRM systems to support occupancy targets
Build and Maintain relationships with hospitals, referral partners, community organisations and local networks
Prepare operational, occupancy, compliance and financial reports to support informed decision-making
Coordinate financial administration activities, including purchase orders, invoices, procurement support and maintenance of financial and asset registers
Support operational planning, meetings, workflow coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain quality and governance systems, ensuring records remain audit-ready and compliant.

What You Bring to the Team:

Experience in a Senior Administration, Service Coordinator or Operational Support role, ideally within aged care, health or community services
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience in financial administration, report and maintaining accurate records and systems
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with customer-focused approach.
High-level computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and customer relationship management systems
Demonstrated ability to coordinate teams, processes, and operational activities effectively
Knowledge of aged care operations, occupancy management or aged care legislation will be highly regarded (desirable)
