Full Job Description

Description

As a Welder, you will be responsible for cutting and joining metals and other materials in our workshop and/or on construction sites. Other duties may include keeping the workshop clean and general duties. You must be able to work unsupervised and obey all company and WHS safety procedures.

Essential Skills

Experience in welding mild steel (mig)
Trade qualifications in welding (or equivalent)
Understanding of welding and manufacturing processes
Ability to read and follow design drawings
Ability to follow Safety and operating procedures
Ability to produce quality work at a high standard
Excellent time management and organisational skills

Desirable Skills

White Card qualification (Construction Induction Training Card)
Forklift Licence
Experience in welding other steels

Remuneration

Full-Time Permanent position of 38hrs per week
Pay rate will depend on experience and qualifications
Penalty rates apply for overtime and weekend hours
