Senior Agronomist / Territory Manager
Griffith & Riverina Region, NSW
- Competitive Salary + Incentive
- Fully Maintained Vehicle
- Exciting hybrid role
If you're an experienced agronomist who enjoys working closely with growers, solving real on-farm challenges, and turning technical expertise into commercial results, this is an opportunity to join a progressive Australian agribusiness where your contribution will genuinely make a difference.
NuEdge is an Australian-owned company specialising in crop nutrition, specialty fertilisers and innovative agricultural solutions. We partner with growers to improve productivity, profitability and soil health, combining high-quality products with practical technical advice and exceptional service.
As we continue to expand, we are looking for a Senior Agronomist / Territory Manager to lead our growth across the Griffith and Riverina region.
About the Role
This is a unique role that combines the best of technical agronomy and commercial territory management.
You'll spend your time working directly with growers and key customers, understanding their operations, identifying opportunities to improve crop performance, and recommending practical crop nutrition and soil health solutions that deliver measurable results.
At the same time, you'll take ownership of your territory as a commercial portfolio, developing relationships, growing market share and building a strong pipeline of opportunities.
You'll be supported by an experienced and collaborative team, and given the autonomy to build your region and make a real impact.
What You'll Be Doing
No two days will be the same. One day you might be in the field discussing nutrition strategies with growers, the next you may be reviewing trial results, presenting at a field day, or working with the broader sales team to develop opportunities.
In this role, you will:
- Provide trusted agronomic advice on crop nutrition, soil health and specialty agricultural inputs.
- Build long-term relationships with growers, agribusinesses and distribution partners.
- Identify new business opportunities and grow sales across your territory.
- Conduct field trials and product demonstrations to showcase product performance.
- Develop tailored nutrition programs and practical recommendations for customers.
- Represent NuEdge at field days, grower meetings and industry events.
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline, forecasting and CRM discipline.
- Share technical insights and contribute to the development of new products and strategies.
About You
You're someone who combines strong technical capability with a commercial mindset.
You enjoy being in front of customers, building trusted relationships and helping growers achieve better outcomes.
You're equally comfortable discussing crop nutrition strategies as you are negotiating business opportunities and developing your territory.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- A tertiary qualification in Agronomy, Agricultural Science or a related discipline.
- Proven agronomy experience and a strong understanding of crop nutrition.
- Minimum 5-8 years of agronomy experience with demonstrated expertise in crop nutrition and practical field application.
- Sales or territory management experience within agriculture.
- Minimum 5-8 years of sales or territory management experience within the agricultural sector.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A self-driven, organised and results-oriented approach.
- A current Australian driver's licence.
Experience in the Griffith or broader Riverina region, and established local relationships, will be highly regarded.
Why Join NuEdge?
