About the role
The Grenfell Community Health team is a multidisciplinary unit that works closely together to deliver high quality healthcare to the Weddin Shire. We are seeking a qualified Physiotherapist Level 1 / 2 to join our team. You will have the opportunity to work with Community Health Nurses, a Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, Dietitian and Allied Health Assistant as well as a team of administration and support staff.
Physiotherapy support will be provided from the team at Cowra Hospital and there are regular education sessions run by district physiotherapists that can be accessed virtually.
Work will be rural generalist based and include delivery of group exercise classes, one-on-one therapy (including post-operative care, older persons health and neurodegenerative conditions) and delivery of community health initiatives.
The role is one 8 hour day per week (negotiable). There is no after hours or weekend work.
