Macarthur Lung and Sleep is a growing specialist Respiratory and Sleep Disorders Centre providing comprehensive respiratory, sleep, and diagnostic laboratory services. We are currently seeking an experienced, motivated, and highly organised Practice Manager & Front Desk Team Leader to join our leadership team and work closely with the Clinical Director in managing the day-to-day operations and growth of the practice.

· Billing and Financial Reconciliation Oversight
Practice Management Responsibilities
· Oversee the daily administrative operations of the practice
· Coordinate consultation schedules and support specialist doctors
· Manage reception workflows and patient communication
· Handle patient complaints and external communication professionally
· Assist with business growth initiatives, marketing, and referral development
· Maintain professional presentation and operational standards of the practice
Front Desk Team Leadership
· Lead and supervise the reception team
· Ensure efficient patient bookings and front desk workflow
· Coordinate rostering and staff coverage
· Support and mentor reception staff to maintain high professional standards
· Work collaboratively with technicians, administration staff, and management
Billing & Financial Reconciliation
· Oversee Medicare and private billing processes
· Perform daily and weekly billing reconciliation
· Reconcile sleep laboratory billing and diagnostic service invoicing
· Monitor billing accuracy and Medicare compliance
· Assist with payroll coordination and financial administration using Xero
Collaboration with Director
· Work closely with the Clinical Director regarding operational performance, financial integrity, practice growth, workflow optimisation, and staff coordination
About You
· Previous experience as a Practice Manager, Senior Medical Receptionist, or Team Leader within healthcare
· Strong leadership and organisational skills
· Experience with Medicare billing and reconciliation
· Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills
· Ability to work in a fast-paced specialist medical environment
· Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
· Experience with Genie, Xero, or medical practice software highly desirable
· Experience in respiratory, sleep, or specialist practice settings will be highly regarded
