The Opportunity

At Sentinel Bar and Grill, we're looking for a talented and experienced chef de partie to join our team. As an Experienced Chef, you'll play a vital role in creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Whether you're an expert in crafting delicious meals or have a passion for managing kitchen operations, this is an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary skills and contribute to the success of our renowned New York Style - French Bistro.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of high-quality dishes from our diverse menu
Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and adherence to health and safety standards
Assist in menu development and contribute to the creation of new and innovative dishes
Manage kitchen staff and oversee the efficient operation of the kitchen
Collaborate with the front-of-house team to deliver an exceptional dining experience
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked kitchen environment
Adhere to budgets, inventory and HACCP control procedures

What We're Looking For

Experience as a chef in a similar high-volume, fast-paced upmarket restaurant environment
Strong technical skills in food preparation, cooking, and presentation
Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
Passion for creating exceptional dining experiences and a commitment to delivering high-quality food
Knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen best practices
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and Saturday nights.
