The Thomastown Football Netball Club is seeking highly motivated sports trainers to join the club for season 2024.
The club is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sports Trainer to join our team and play a crucial role in the well-being and performance of our players.
Experience is desired but not essential for suitable applicants. Opportunities are available to work with our Senior, Reserve, Women’s, and Under 19’s teams for the season beginning in April 2024.
Successful applicants will be rostered to work within a group of trainers on Saturday/ Sunday match days, and training nights on Tuesday & Thursday.
Responsibilities:
– Basic First Aid
– Sports taping
– Sports Massage
– Assist and report to Head Trainer
– Injury and rehabilitation management
– Assisting with match day team requirements
Key requirements:
– Drivers Licence (ideal).
– Ability to work within a team environment.
– Ability to handle on field mobility demands and maintain a sound level of fitness.
The positions are ideal for students studying health science in Physiotherapy, Osteopathy, Chiropractic courses looking to gain experience in the sporting industry.
Applicants must have valid First Aid, CPR, Level 1 Sports Trainer and Working with Children Check or willing to obtain.
All positions are remunerated and determined on basis of experience.
