We are seeking an experienced Scraper/Mechanical Technician with valid Australian working rights to join the team to assist with Mechanical works on site.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform maintenance, repairs, and servicing of conveyor belt scrapers.
Clean, adjust, and maintain primary and secondary cleaners, ploughs, and water control units.
Inspect conveyor belts to identify faults, wear, and damage.
Adjust scraper heights to prevent damage to the conveyor belts.
Conducting regular maintenance of impact beds and skirting areas, tracking frames, and V ploughs.
Inspect the conveyor axis and recommend appropriate actions where necessary.
Identify and maintain different types of scrapers.
Troubleshoot, install, and commission new equipment as required.
Perform quality checks to ensure machinery meets the company’s standards.
Use hand and power tools safely for maintenance tasks.
Provide technical advice to enhance product performance.

Essential Requirements:

Valid Australian working rights.
Confined Spaces, Working at Heights, and Gas Test Atmospheres tickets.
White Card.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Conveyor Belt Technician or Mechanical Maintenance Fitter, ideally in a mining environment.
Strong knowledge of conveyor belt systems and associated components such as belt cleaners, skirting systems, and belt tracking.
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and Lab DAS.
Valid Driver's Licence

Desirable Qualifications:

MSIC (assistance available).
High-Risk Work Licence (EWP, Dogging, Rigging) – incentives provided.
