Project Architect

Join a national practice with a local focus. DesignInc is an association of independent architectural studios across Adelaide,
Brisbane, Darwin, Melbourne, Perth, and Sydney, all united by a single purpose: to make a positive difference in every
environment we shape. We fundamentally believe that design is a shared journey, placing collaboration at the very core of our
successful, supportive studio culture.

We are seeking a Project Architect keen to further their career within our growing Darwin studio. If you are a highly motivated

The Role

In this role you will:

Manage projects from concept design through to construction
Build and maintain client relationships via proactive communication skills
Contribute to the ongoing development and mentoring of other staff members
Demonstrate technical skills using computing platforms compatible with DesignInc’s project workflows (Revit, ACAD,

SketchUp and Enscape).

Assist and lead with the production of construction documentation in Revit
Build your professional relationships by working within collaborative project teams
Work across and gain experience within multiple sectors such as Education, Health, Defence, Community and Recreation
Have the opportunity to work on both local and national projects of differing scales
Have opportunities for professional growth within the practice.

Your Skills + Experience

Have been Registered for a minimum on 3 years
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Degree/Master qualifications in Architecture
Demonstrated skills using Revit or AutoCAD, Photoshop, Enscape, Powerpoint, Excel and Word
Supervise and coordinate small – medium project teams
Capacity to work as part of a team with the ability to work autonomously as required
Ability to work both with the local team and collaborate with interstate teams on larger projects
Effective time-management skills and ability to multi-task
A solid understanding of NCC and Australian Standards

Our current trail of a 9 day fortnight working rhythm

The role is fulltime and based in our Parap studio location. Salary package and general terms will be compliant with the
FairWork Act and relevant Awards. Terms are also negotiable in accordance with experience and market rates.
