About the role
Blooms The Chemist Goulburn is seeking an experienced Pharmacist to join their team on a full-time basis. As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to our patients, ensuring their safety and well-being. This is a hands-on role that will see you working closely with patients, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent customer service and optimise patient outcomes.
What you'll be doing
Dispensing medications accurately and safely
Providing advice and information to patients on the proper use of medications, potential side effects, and interactions
Collaborating with doctors and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated, patient-centred care
Maintaining accurate and detailed records of all patient interactions and medication dispensing
Ensuring the pharmacy complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and professional standards
Participating in the continuous improvement of pharmacy operations and patient care
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent qualification
Current registration as a Pharmacist
Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Pharmacist in a community setting
Strong clinical knowledge and the ability to provide evidence-based pharmaceutical care
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, doctors, and other healthcare professionals
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure
Commitment to continuous professional development and a patient-centred approach to care
