Full Job Description

We’re expanding our team and are currently looking for young, strong, and capable male support workers to join us in supporting a young participant with complex behaviours.

This role would suit someone energetic, patient, confident, and able to remain calm under pressure. Experience working with behaviours of concern is highly regarded. University students studying Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Exercise Physiology, Teaching, or related fields are encouraged to apply for valuable hands-on experience in the disability sector.

What you’ll be doing

Supporting a young participant both at home and in the community
Assisting with emotional regulation and behavioural support strategies
Encouraging independence, confidence, and social development
Engaging in physical and meaningful activities aligned with participant goals
Providing transport to activities and appointments
Building positive and professional relationships with the participant and family
Completing shift notes and required documentation

About you

Young, energetic, and proactive
Strong, resilient, and confident working with behaviours of concern
Calm under pressure with good problem-solving skills
Passionate about working in the disability sector
Patient, respectful, and reliable
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
Experience in disability support or behaviour support is highly regarded

Essential requirements

Valid driver’s licence
Access to a reliable car
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Working With Children Check
First Aid & CPR Certificate
Full working rights in Australia
