About this opportunity

Your role is dynamic! From enhancing accessibility to helping us streamline our operations, you will ensure all our clients in need are able to access essential food services and have a welcoming environment!

Some of your key responsibilities include:

Deliver and collect bread products from Woolworths, ensuring timely and efficient

distribution.

Participate in promoting the Gordonvale Food Pantry, seeking out community

donation opportunities to enhance support.

Collaborate with volunteers and team members to facilitate Food Pantry operations

and maintain opening hours.

Engage with external services linked to the Food Pantry, fostering partnerships and

community connections for broader impact.

Skills and Requirements

Minimum availability on Food Bank day- currently on Thursdays.
Ability to lift up to 15kg bread bins onto trolley or into vehicle.
Current open Qld Drivers Licence to transport food items (use of TBS owned

vehicle will be provided).

Effective interpersonal and communication skills especially the ability to interact

face to face with people in need or crisis.

Possession of or willingness to obtain a Working with Children Blue Card and

Criminal Record Check.
