Role Description The Operations Manager is a full time, on-site role located in Goolwa, SA, responsible for overseeing daily service delivery and operational performance. This role coordinates staff schedules, ensures services align with NDIS and internal quality standards, and maintains a safe, compliant working environment. The Operations Manager monitors participant support plans, works closely with support workers and families, and resolves operational issues promptly. The role also involves reporting on key operational metrics, managing resources efficiently, supporting staff development, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Collaboration with management and frontline teams is essential to maintain participant-focused, high-quality disability services.
Qualifications
- Proven Experience in operations and leadership skills, including team management, workflow coordination, and performance oversight.
- Experience in disability services or community care, with strong understanding of person-centered and culturally safe support practices.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and standards with a strong understanding of NDIS Practice Standards, workplace health and safety, privacy and confidentiality.
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and conflict resolution skills to work effectively with participants, families, and staff.
- Competence in planning, reporting, and basic administration, including scheduling, documentation, and use of digital systems.
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical practice, respect, inclusion, and maintaining a safe, non-discriminatory environment.
- Experience supervising or supporting frontline staff in a healthcare, disability, or human services setting is highly regarded.
- Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in management, disability, community services, or a related field.
- Ability to work on-site in Goolwa, SA, with flexibility to respond to changing service needs and priorities.
