Never Quit Bundall Pty Ltd. has an excellent opportunity for a full-time Sport Development Officer (SDO) to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Provide administrative and operational support to schools and local sporting clubs by designing and delivering developmental and exercise programs for both youth and senior athletes/members that’s tailored towards sports, performance, skills and progression.
- Support and mentor coaches by delivering sports and performance workshops, leading coaching clinics, assisting with programming, and sharing best-practice resources and materials between the sporting bodies, organisations and coaches.
- Design and implement training exercises and programs to enhance participant skills and performance within their sporting style/s and gym based events
- Coordinate internal competitions and events that Never Quit Bundall organise and host, which can include (but not limited to): challenges, gym competitions etc. This can include scheduling, administrative planning, programming and liaising with both athletes, clubs, sponsors and head organisers prior and during the event.
- Manage allocated program budgets, track performance metrics, and assist with grant or funding applications where applicable
- Collect and analyse data and feedback to improve understanding of community sport and recreational issues to enhance overall experience and continually refine and improve offerings
- Develop and delivers sports and performance programs that promote accessibility, community engagement and wellbeing, inclusion and member retention
- Promotes sports and skill development with a focus on youth by encouraging participation with long-term athlete progression together with functional fitness and their sporting activities
- Actively promotes and markets programs, specific classes, and community initiatives to drive engagement and growth
- Builds strong relationships with local schools, community groups, and sporting organisations to expand participation and outreach.
- Assist with maintaining the facility at a high quality standard ensuring equipment and space is functioning properly, serviced regularly and clean.
Applicants for this position should:
- Have relevant formal qualifications such as an appropriated bachelor degree
- At least 1 year of relevant full-time experience, in addition to formal qualifications
- In some cases, a number of (3-5) years full-time employment may be considered in place of formal qualifications

Pay: $76,600.00 – $78,600.00 per year
