The Role with Express
This role is ideal for an experienced agency marketer ready to move in-house, or a strong performance marketer looking for greater ownership of e-commerce growth, digital advertising and commercial results.
Express Portables and Express Wellness are looking for a hands-on, commercially focused digital marketer who understands that strong digital marketing goes well beyond simply running ads.
Your core focus will be Google and Meta advertising, Shopify, conversion, lead quality, e-commerce growth and campaign performance.
For agency marketers, this is an opportunity to stop spreading your time across multiple client accounts and instead go deep on one business. You'll have the opportunity to understand the products, offers, customer journey and data, then see your campaigns through from strategy and creative to leads, sales and commercial results.
You'll own your own projects while working alongside our Social Media Specialist and Web Developer.
You'll have clear areas of responsibility, but we're also a collaborative team. During major campaigns, product launches, busy periods or annual leave, you'll be comfortable jumping across and supporting other areas of marketing when required.
This is a full-time in-house role based in our modern Molendinar office on the Gold Coast.
What You'll Be Doing
- Own and deliver performance-focused digital marketing campaigns
- Manage and optimise large-scale Google and Meta campaigns with significant ongoing digital advertising budgets
- Drive e-commerce growth across Shopify, landing pages and conversion
- Monitor ROAS, conversion rates, lead quality, sales and campaign performance
- Develop and test audiences, offers, ad creative, copy and campaign concepts
- Build and improve HubSpot email campaigns, automations and customer journeys
- Improve the customer journey from ad and landing page through to lead, sale and follow-up
- Work with our Social Media Specialist on creative, content and campaign assets
- Support product launches and larger cross-brand campaigns
You'll have hands-on exposure to large-scale Google and Meta advertising campaigns and be expected to continually look for ways to improve results.
Systems & Platforms
You'll work across a modern digital marketing stack including:
- Google Ads
- Meta Ads Manager
- Shopify
- HubSpot CRM & Marketing Hub
- GA4
- Google Tag Manager
- Meta Pixel and Conversion API
- Google Search Console
- TikTok and other digital advertising platforms where relevant
You’ll have support from our in-house Web Developer, but should understand how tracking, attribution, conversion events and CRM data fit together.
Experience implementing or maintaining GA4, GTM, pixels, Conversion API, CRM events or conversion tracking will be highly regarded.
AI & Automation
AI is already part of how we work and we expect this role to use it confidently.
You'll use AI to improve campaign analysis, creative testing, copy, research, automation and day-to-day marketing efficiency.
We're looking for someone who actively explores new tools and knows how to use AI to move faster, test more and improve marketing performance.
Who We're Looking For
This role is best suited to someone whose core strength is performance marketing and e-commerce, rather than primarily organic social media or content creation.
You'll ideally have:
- 6+ years' experience in digital marketing
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Ads and Meta Ads
- Experience managing meaningful advertising budgets
- Strong Shopify or e-commerce experience
- A solid understanding of ROAS, conversion rates, CAC and campaign performance
- Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM and email automation platforms
- Experience working with analytics, tracking and attribution
- Strong commercial and analytical thinking
- Confidence testing creative, audiences, offers and landing pages
- Confidence using AI as part of your everyday workflow
You don't need to be an expert in every platform
What matters is that you understand how the different parts of digital marketing work together and you're comfortable being measured on commercial outcomes, not just clicks, traffic or engagement.
What We Offer
- $110,000–$130,000 + 12% super, depending on experience
- Full-time, Monday to Friday
