Special Education - Prep-12 (Temporary, ASAP - 11/12/26)
Successful applicants will demonstrate:
A commitment to high-quality, inclusive and evidence-based teaching practices.
The ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated learning experiences aligned to the Australian Curriculum, including adjusted and alternative pathways for students working below Foundation level.
Experience developing and implementing Individual Curriculum Plans (ICPs) or personalised learning programs.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills with students, families and colleagues.
The ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, teacher aides and specialist staff.
A commitment to reflective practice and continuous improvement.
Highly Desirable:
Special education or inclusive education settings.
Experience in one or more of the following areas will be highly regarded.
Supporting students with intellectual disability, autism and/or complex learning needs.
Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).
Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL).
Working alongside allied health professionals.
Contributing to whole-school improvement initiatives.
