We’re looking for a proactive and customer-focused IT Support Technician to join our team and help keep our people connected, supported and productive.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll provide technical support across the business, including Head Office and our sites currently in Townsville, Rockhampton and Moreton Bay, with more on the way. You’ll onboard and offboard employees with all IT items, troubleshoot issues both remotely and in office, support new technology rollouts, manage support requests, and play an important role in maintaining secure and reliable IT systems.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Providing day-to-day IT support to team members across the business
- Managing and responding to support tickets submitted via the support inbox
- Troubleshooting hardware, software, network and system issues
- Troubleshooting and fault finding both remotely and in office
- Setting up laptops, desktops, mobile devices and user accounts
- Setting up and deploying new devices, including Windows and Apple computers, iPhones, iPads and Android tablets
- Installing applications and software applicable to business devices
- Supporting Microsoft 365 applications and business systems
- Reviewing quarantined emails and assisting with email security processes
- Assisting with onboarding and offboarding processes
- Maintaining IT equipment and asset records
- Supporting cybersecurity and system update activities
- Liaising with vendors and suppliers for equipment, including printers, computers and other IT hardware
- Liaising with vendors and suppliers regarding software licensing
- Working with external IT providers and vendors when required
- Assisting with technology improvements and IT projects
What We’re Looking For

5+ years previous experience in an IT support or helpdesk role

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Experience with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365

Experience supporting Apple devices, iPhones, iPads and Android devices

Good understanding of hardware, networking and user support

Experience setting up devices, user accounts and email accounts

Strong communication and customer service skills

Ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing demands

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
