Rosita Flores is a family-run business with a number of boutique florist stores across
Queensland. We are known for the quality of our floral design, our personalised customer
service, and the warm team culture that has been the foundation of our business for many
years.
The opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Florist to join our Robina Town Centre store on a full-time,
permanent basis. This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who genuinely loves the craft
of floristry and is looking for a long-term home with a supportive employer.
What you will be doing
- Designing, preparing and arranging floral bouquets, posies and table arrangements
for retail, weddings, funerals and corporate clients.
- Selecting and conditioning fresh flowers and foliage to ensure consistent quality.
- Advising customers on flower selection, care and styling for their occasions.
- Managing stock levels, ordering from wholesalers, and minimising waste.
- Maintaining a clean, well-presented store and contributing to merchandising and
visual display.
- Processing sales, taking phone and online orders, and coordinating deliveries.
What we are looking for
- Minimum 3 years' commercial florist experience (essential — we are not considering
applicants without this).
- Formal qualification in floristry (Certificate III in Floristry or equivalent) is highly
regarded.
- Strong design skills across a range of styles, including weddings and events.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work weekends and key trading periods (Mother's
Day, Valentine's Day, Christmas).
