What you'll be doing

As a Care Worker, you'll provide person-centred care and support that enhances residents' wellbeing, comfort and quality of life. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Delivering high-quality personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing and continence support
Assisting residents with meals, hydration and daily living activities
Supporting mobility using safe manual handling techniques and equipment
Monitoring resident wellbeing and accurately documenting observations and care notes
Maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment
Supporting wellness, reablement and independence-focused care
Working collaboratively with nurses, allied health professionals and the wider care team
Upholding resident choice, privacy, dignity and cultural safety at all times.

About you

You are caring, reliable and committed to delivering exceptional support to older people. You'll bring:

Essential

Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or equivalent
Experience working as a Care Worker or Personal Care Assistant in a residential aged car
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience documenting care information and using electronic care systems
A genuine commitment to person-centred care and customer service
Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
