Requirements

Leadership and Team Management:

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of NDT technicians, ensuring a high level of professionalism, motivation, and collaboration.

Conduct regular training sessions to keep the team updated on the latest NDT techniques, equipment, and industry standards.

Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the NDT team.

Program Development and Implementation:

Develop and implement NDT programs and procedures to ensure the accurate and reliable testing of materials and components.

Collaborate with other departments to integrate NDT processes into the overall quality assurance and control framework.

Stay abreast of technological advancements in NDT and recommend upgrades or changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:

Ensure that all NDT activities comply with relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations.

Perform regular audits and assessments to verify the effectiveness of NDT procedures and the competency of NDT technicians.

Address any non-conformities and work with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.

Client Stakeholder Communication:

Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders regarding NDTrelated matters.

Communicate effectively with internal and external parties, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Collaborate with sales and business development teams to support client acquisition and retention efforts.

Equipment Management:

Oversee the selection, calibration, and maintenance of NDT equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability in testing.

Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to budget for and acquire necessary equipment and resources.

Qualifications:

Certification in relevant NDT methods AICIP or API is highly desirable.

Proven experience in NDT techniques, procedures, and program development.

Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.

In-depth knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to NDT.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.

Experience:

A minimum of 5 of experience in NDT, with 2 in a managerial or leadership role.
