Full Job Description

Leading Hand Carpenter – Long-Term Opportunity with Aestec Services

Location: Gladstone QLD
Hours: 48 hours per week (Mon–Fri)
Duration: Ongoing, long-term work

Ready to step up and lead from the front? Aestec Services is currently seeking an experienced Leading Hand Carpenter to join our team on a long-term project at Yarwun on the projects team. If you’re a hands-on leader with a strong carpentry background and the drive to get the job done right — this is your opportunity to build something meaningful.

Scope of Works Includes:

Formwork construction
Small concreting works – including steel fixing and pours
General carpentry tasks
Leading a small team to ensure safe, quality, and timely delivery

Skills & Experience Required:

Qualified Carpenter with demonstrated site-based experience
Proven leadership or Leading Hand experience
Strong understanding of formwork and minor concreting
Ability to read and interpret plans and follow scopes of work
Solid understanding of WHS and ability to lead a team safely
Construction White Card
High level of reliability, initiative, and communication

Bonus Points For:

Civil experience operating excavators, skid steers, rollers, or trucks
RIIs or VOCs for plant machinery
Experience in industrial or heavy industry environments
