Pearl Home Care Gladstone is a locally owned and operated community service provider specialising in professional and affordable in-home aged and disability care so that you or your loved one can continue living comfortably and independently at home. 100% Australian-owned, we are the country’s most trusted home care professionals, with a national network of qualified and friendly care providers who offer home health care, education and support to aged care and NDIS participants.

We are currently seeking Support Workers who are passionate about providing high quality care to our aged care clients across the Gladstone Region.

Duties and Responsibilities

Assisting consumers to perform important daily activities.
Facilitating daily personal hygiene and dressing tasks.
Performing home based tasks such as food preparation and housework.
Undertaking tasks outside the home such as shopping and taking client to appointments.
Transport
In-home respite

Qualifications and Experience

Previous experience as a Support Worker in the Aged Care and/or Disability Sector is desirable.
Must have Cert III or equivalent, First Aid, CPR, Manual Handling, Police Clearance, Blue & Yellow Cards, and Drivers Licence.
Must have own, reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
Excellent communication skills in customer service.
Ability to fulfil our standards and values when performing tasks.
Have an eye for detail and excellent organisational skills.
Ability to perform more than one task at a time and solve problems quickly.
Can work autonomously and as part of a small team.
