About the Role

Are you a Canva pro who knows how to make retail products pop off the page? We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Part-Time Graphic Designer to join us on-site in New Gisborne.

In this role, you will be the driving force behind our retail marketing materials. Your main playground will be Canva, where you’ll turn product lists and promotions into stunning, high-converting catalogues and advertisements. This is a fantastic opportunity for a local freelancer, parent returning to work, or student looking for consistent, local hours.

Key Responsibilities

Design Catalogues: Layout and design engaging, easy-to-read retail catalogues that drive sales.
Create Advertisements: Craft eye-catching print and digital ads tailored for retail audiences.
Brand Consistency: Ensure all designs align perfectly with brand guidelines, fonts, and color palettes.
Asset Management: Organize and manage product imagery and templates within Canva for efficient workflows.

What We Are Looking For

Canva Mastery: You don’t just use Canva; you navigate it like a pro. You know the shortcuts, the tricks, and how to keep templates clean and organized.
Retail/Layout Eye: You understand how consumers read catalogues. You know how to balance white space with product grids and call-outs.
Local & Reliable: This is an in-person role in New Gisborne, so you must be able to commute to our space for your weekly hours.
Efficiency: You can work to deadlines without sacrificing quality.
Bonus Points: Experience in retail marketing or print production.
