Latrobe Regional Health is looking for Executive Assistant to join our growing team on a part time (0.8EFT) up to full time (1.0EFT) ongoing basis.
The Executive Assistant provides high‑level administrative and executive support to the Director and broader Executive team at Latrobe Regional Health. As part of the Executive Office, this role ensures the efficient coordination of executive activities, communication and governance processes. Working in a fast‑paced and confidential environment, the position plays a critical role in supporting organisational leadership through effective diary management, meeting coordination, correspondence management and stakeholder engagement, while maintaining corporate standards and strong internal relationships.

The role of the Executive Assistant is to:

Provide comprehensive executive support, including coordination of meetings, calendars and activities to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations.

Manage correspondence, prepare documentation and draft responses, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.

Coordinate committee support functions, including agenda preparation, minute taking and tracking completion of actions.

Liaise with executives, administrative staff and stakeholders to maintain effective communication and workflow across the organisation.

Support governance and compliance processes, including appropriate management of FOI requests, complaints and medico‑legal matters.

Maintain accurate filing systems and ensure high standards of professionalism within the Executive Office, including reception support where required.
About you
Ideal candidates for this role will have:

Demonstrated experience in a senior administrative or executive assistant role.

Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management.

Strong organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare correspondence and accurately record minutes.
-
A proactive, flexible and professional approach, with the ability to work under pressure and maintain confidentiality.
