Latrobe Regional Health is looking for Graduate Registered Nurse to join our growing team on a part time (0.8EFT) fixed term basis.

Join the dedicated nursing team at Latrobe Regional Health, where learning, support and career opportunities come together. Located in Gippsland, our Graduate Nursing Program is designed to help you transition confidently to a career in nursing through hands on experience, professional development and strong clinical support.

The Graduate Nursing Program offers fixed-term, part-time positions across a range of specialty pathways, with intakes commencing in January and July 2027.

Working Together | We will respond to challenges together to create a safe, quality health service

Aged Care Collaboration Program Streams

Collaborative Program with Latrobe Valley Village – 12 months

Complete 6 months at LRH and 6 months with Latrobe Valley Village

Collaborative Program with Yallambee Traralgon – 12 months

Undertake 6 months at LRH and 6 months at Yallambee Traralgon

*Please note that we can not guarantee a placement in your preferred program. Allocations are based on operational requirements of LRH*

About You

To be successful in this program, you will have:

Registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
Eligibility to participate in a Graduate Nurse Program
Australian or New Zealand citizenship, Australian permanent residency, or Australian-trained temporary residency with current working rights
Not previously participated in a Graduate Nurse or Graduate Nurse/Midwifery Program at a hospital or health service
A National Police Record Check and Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain)
Current influenza vaccination, or willingness to obtain prior to commencement

The Postgraduate Medical Council of Victoria (PMCV) manages the matching process by collecting candidate preferences and referee reports, while health services assess and rank applicants before positions are allocated.

Complete and submit your PMCV application (excluding the video interview component)

Before commencement, the successful applicant will
