About the role

Are you seeking a diverse and rewarding Clinical Trials Manager role at a leading regional hospital? Join our Research and Clinical Trails Unit at Latrobe Regional Health where a ‘world of opportunities awaits’.

Latrobe Regional Health (LRH) currently has an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified and dedicated Clinical Trials Manager to join our Research and Clinical Trails team. This position will be on a part time (0.6EFT), fixed term basis, for a period of 12 months.

The Clinical Trials Manager will oversee the day to day operations of a developing clinical trials unit, including:

Enabling the timely process of clinical trial start up and operations
Promoting clinical engagement and overseeing trial governance
Oversee and report risk related acitivty relating to clinical trials
Ensuring research staff and students are well supported providing leadership and mentoring to a growing team
Support and encourage research uptake and clinical trial project opportunities
Ensuring appropriate integration of clinical trial processes to hospital operations.
Adhere to budget management.

About you

Ideal candidates for this role will have:

Demonstrated understanding of clinical trial processes
Leadership and/or management experience of a moderate sized team.
Evidence of recent professional development in research
Strong data management and reporting skills.
Strong organisational skills, including time management, task planning, and the ability to work independently, while contributing effectively to a team.
Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to build trust, secure buy-in, and foster meaningful partnerships.
