Key Responsibilities

Assessing the Occupational Therapy needs of NDIS Participants of all ages
Delivering evidence-based Occupational Therapy intervention across a range of service areas
Participating in ongoing professional development and work collaboratively with the Therapy Circles Team.
Implement person-centered planning practices and enhance the skills and knowledge of families and those who support and care for persons with disability.
Provide Discipline specific Reports as per NDIS requirements
Identify opportunities and participate in quality improvement activities in consultation with other staff members of Therapy Circles.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Relevant tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy.
Current AHPRA membership.
Experience working with people with a disability and community setting.
Willingness to travel around the Western Suburbs of Melbourne (primarily Werribee, Deer Park and the surrounding suburbs) and work with all age groups as required.
Willingness to take on a mixed caseload.
Speaking more than one language is a bonus, but not a requirement unless for a specific participant.
All levels of experience are welcome to apply.

Desirable Knowledge, Skills & Experience

High level interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Strong written and computer skills for the creation of plans, programs, reports, correspondence, and other documents.
Understanding and commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous improvement.
