Job Requirements:

The Assistant Accountant provides operational support to the accounting team, ensuring the accurate processing, recording, and reporting of financial transactions. This role plays a vital part in maintaining the integrity of the general ledger and supports the delivery of quarter-end, year-end, and statutory reporting.

The role is accounting-focused in nature and is designed to support accountants and Directors by ensuring effective and accurate information is provided.

This varied role includes:

Coding, reconciliations, journals, spreadsheeting and period end reporting.
Assist with the preparation of ATO returns.
Assisting with payroll, superannuation returns and reporting
Assisting with coverage to the administration function of the office as required
