We’re looking for a motivated and experienced Kitchen Head to join our team at Forefun. This role focuses on overseeing kitchen operations with a strong emphasis on inventory control, food safety, and smooth service flow. You’ll work hands-on in the kitchen alongside our cooks and kitchen hands, ensuring stock levels are maintained and menu items are delivered consistently and efficiently. This is a practical leadership role, not an office or rostering position, making it perfect for someone who enjoys being in the thick of service.
Key Responsibilities
- 2+ years experience in a commercial kitchen
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent (preferred)
- Strong focus on organisation and consistency
- Punctual, reliable, and professional work habits
- Weekend and evening availability
Requirements
- Cooking experience in a hospitality or events setting
- Certificate II/III in Kitchen Operations (preferred, not essential)
- Punctual, reliable, and clean work habits
- Weekend and evening availability
- Able to work solo or in a small team
