About the role
Join our Community Rehabilitation team as a Grade 3 Speech Pathologist, leading high-quality, evidence-based care to clients with communication and swallowing disorders. You will work within a supportive multidisciplinary team, manage an independent caseload and contribute to service development, supervision and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Lead an innovative Speech Pathology service within Community Rehabilitation (North Geelong location)
- Deliver assessment and intervention for communication and swallowing disorders
- Independently manage a clinical caseload within a community setting
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide person-centred care
- Supervise and support allied health assistants, junior staff and students
What we’re looking for
- Qualified Speech Pathologist eligible for Speech Pathology Australia membership
- Experience in neurological communication and swallowing disorders
- Strong teamwork, communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and contribute to service improvement initiatives
