We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Accountant to join our Business Advisory team in Geelong.
Are you a Senior Accountant ready to take the next step into a leadership role? We're looking for someone with strong technical foundations who's ready to take on greater ownership of client relationships, mentor junior team members, and build the experience needed to move into a Manager position.

Your role, your contribution
- Take the lead on preparing business advice and producing complex special purpose reports for clients
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, reconciliations and tax returns for companies, partnerships, trusts and a range of individual businesses
- Proactively guide clients on their compliance obligations, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor rather than just a preparer
- Manage relationships with external providers and statutory authorities on behalf of clients
- Begin taking on informal leadership responsibilities — reviewing junior work, providing feedback, and supporting team development
Build and maintain strong client relationships, with increasing autonomy over how those relationships are managed

What you bring to the role
- Solid experience in Business Advisory within public practice, ideally with some exposure to reviewing or guiding junior staff
- Fringe Benefits Tax and Deferred Tax experience highly regarded
- CA or CPA qualified, or very close to completion
- Strong analytical skills and the confidence to advise clients directly on complex issues
- Proficiency in Excel and cloud accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB)
Strong communication skills and the confidence to represent the firm in client-facing situations
