About the role

The role of Reception and Administration Support is to provide an effective and efficient reception/administrative service across Barwon Health sites and contribute to the overall performance of Barwon Health to ensure high quality customer service. A focus of this role is ensuring that the administration functions support the patient journey core principles of access and patient centred care with a high standard of quality

Key Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day administrative and reception support to ensure efficient operations within the assigned area.
Maintain accurate documentation, medical records and billing processes in line with organisational standards.
Deliver a customer-focused service to patients, staff and stakeholders while supporting a collaborative and respectful workplace culture.
Uphold privacy, confidentiality, information security and organisational compliance requirements at all times.

What we are looking for

Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and respectful approach to customer service and confidentiality.
Demonstrated experience in a busy reception or administrative environment, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work independently under pressure.
Excellent computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft 365, electronic information systems, databases, and strong literacy and numeracy skills.
Current Victorian Driver’s Licence with reliable transport.
