About the role
Are you an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person with a passion for caring for your mob? Is working holistically supporting the health of your community a role that would interest you? Are you keen to make a difference? Do you have or aspire to have a minimum Certificate III qualification in Aboriginal Primary Health Care?

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Workers play a vital role in the Primary Health care workforce. They provide clinical and primary health care for individuals, families and community groups including speciality areas of drug and alcohol, mental health, diabetes and eye and ear health.

This position will be based at Gulargambone Multi-Purpose Service. Gulargambone is an Aboriginal word derived from the gilagambuwan word meaning young galas.

The Aboriginal Health Worker is part of the Gulargambone MPS Community Primary Health team and is based at the Multi-Purpose Service
