Mid North Coast Mobile Mechanical is looking for an experienced Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic to join our team.

Mid North Coast Mobile Mechanical is a locally owned and operated mechanical business servicing the Mid North Coast.
We operate a small workshop with all the essentials and provide a range of mechanical services to local businesses, with a strong focus on fleet maintenance and repairs for waste management trucks.
We also service and repair a variety of other trucks, vehicles, machinery and equipment, providing plenty of variety throughout the working week.

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic to join our team.
The role will primarily involve servicing, maintenance and repairs on local waste management fleet vehicles, along with work on other heavy vehicles, cars and machinery as required.
Responsibilities
- Carry out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults
- Complete repairs and maintenance on waste management trucks
- Service and repair other trucks and heavy vehicles
- Occasional repairs and servicing of cars and machinery
- Carry out breakdown repairs when required
- Maintain a clean and safe workshop and work environment
- Complete work to a high standard and within required timeframes
Required
- Heavy Vehicle Mechanical trade qualification
- Experience working on heavy vehicles
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- Good attitude and strong work ethic
- Commitment to safe work practices
- Current driver's licence
Desirable
- Forklift licence
- Experience with trucks and trailers
- HR licence
- Ability to attend occasional breakdowns and weekend work when required
