The successful applicant will be working with the support of Principal Class, in our College Disability Inclusion department with a full time administrative focus including but not limited to:
To coordinate the administration and support of students in the area of Inclusion, Diversity and Wellbeing across the College as directed by the Deputy Principal
To coordinate PSD and DI profiles across the College
The transition from PSD (Programs for Students with Disabilities) to DI (Disability Inclusion), including managing the DIP (Disability Inclusion Profile) process
Being the direct point of contact between the College and our D.I. students, families and care teams where applicable
The management and use of NCCD (Nationally Consistent Collection of Data) and College achievement, wellbeing and attendance data to support our D.I. students
Responsibilities of this position will be:
Admin and Learning Support:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records related to students with disabilities, including Individual Education Plans (IEPs), assessments, and other relevant documentation, including SSG minutes.
Provide general administrative assistance to the Inclusion Team, including managing calendars, scheduling and participating in meetings, and handling correspondence.
Enter and manage data in relevant databases and systems and generate reports as required for internal and external stakeholders
Create and share summarised support plans and learner profiles to teaching staff to inform individualised education plans
Work closely with the Inclusion Team to support staff with the inclusion practices, including providing adjustment examples and dissemination of students.
Ensure all activities comply with school policies, government regulations, and best practices in disability support and inclusion.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay informed about current practices and policies in disability inclusion
Supporting teachers with classroom adjustments
Providing face to face support as required to students and staff
Assist with Transition processes for student with a disability and/or additional needs
Other Duties
Assist with other administration duties as required.
Maintain and develop a strong working knowledge of the role and ensuring all tasks are in line with DET guides and policies.
Attend meetings related to role as scheduled and required.
Represent WSC in a professional, warm, friendly and efficient manner, providing reception support that meets the day-to-day requirements of the school

Murrum Primary School is a new government school open Term 1, 2026, located on wurundjeri country at 90 Elpis Rd, Weir Views, 3338. Murrum is the indigenous woi wurrung word for 'joeys'.
The establishment of this new school in the Melton community supports the increasing enrolment demand from a growing local population. Our location is unique in that the suburb has been developing over several years prior to the school opening, and is relatively close to the bustling CBD of Melton and therefore provides easy access to local community services.
Murrum Primary School opened with places for up to 715 students with enrolments open from Foundation to Year 6. Murrum PS is a Supported Inclusion School providing up to 65 places for students with a diagnosis of Intellectual Disability within the total enrolment. This provides a unique opportunity to open another local school in the Melton community that provides high-quality education for local students, strengthening the already established education provision in this growth area.
