About the Role
Waterlink Equipment Pty Ltd is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to support data-driven decision-making across inventory, forecasting, and supply chain performance. The role focuses on analysing supply chain data, improving forecasting accuracy, and delivering insights to optimise inventory and supplier performance. Based in Carrum Downs, VIC Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse supply chain processes to identify inefficiencies, gaps and opportunities for improvement, and recommend changes to enhance operational efficiency and organisational performance
- Use supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities and support informed decision-making
- Improve forecasting accuracy by interpreting demand patterns and inventory data
- Support supplier and logistics performance monitoring and highlight areas for improvement
- Investigate root causes of stock variances, service issues, and process inefficiencies, and recommend preventative solutions
- Maintain accuracy and integrity of ERP and inventory system data for reporting and analysis
Skills and Experience Required
Applicants must demonstrate:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in supply chain, logistics, or data analysis roles
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse supply chain processes, identify improvements, and recommend changes to drive cost reduction and operational efficiency
- Experience interpreting supply chain data and translating findings into practical business recommendations
- Experience working with forecasting, inventory management, and performance reporting
- Ability to identify trends, exceptions, and inefficiencies across complex data sets
- Experience with ERP or inventory systems (e.g. Unleashed or similar)
- Strong Excel skills; exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or SQL highly regarded
- Strong communication skills with ability to clearly present insights and recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Commerce, or a related field.
- Relevant industry certifications such as APICS, CIPS, or equivalent will be highly regarded.
- Current Australian Driver Licence.

Pay: $76,515.00 – $85,000.00 per year
