Bayside Health was formed following the merger of Alfred Health, Bass Coast Health, Gippsland Southern Health Service, Kooweerup Regional Health Service and Peninsula Health on 1 January 2026.
The Bayside Health Peninsula Philanthropy team is a small, high-performing group dedicated to enhancing public health outcomes by building meaningful connections with patients, families, donors and the wider community to support vital healthcare services. The Community Fundraising Coordinator plays a key role in delivering the Philanthropy Strategy by developing and managing community fundraising initiatives across Frankston and the Mornington Peninsula, building strong relationships with community groups, schools, sporting clubs and local businesses. Working collaboratively within a small team, the role involves coordinating fundraising events, managing a pipeline of community donors, supporting volunteers, processing donations and reporting, while maintaining strong attention to detail, stakeholder engagement and achieving revenue targets and KPIs to support exceptional patient care now and into the future.

Skills & Experience Required
- 2+ years of experience in community fundraising, coordinating events and/or a sales or marketing role with a track record of achieving revenue targets
- Ability to work autonomously, as well as part of a small team
- This position will occasionally involve out of hours work and travel will be required to other Bayside Health sites
- Ability to prepare and deliver presentations at events and to prospective partners
- Ability to execute fundraising strategies
- Quick to adapt to new donor databases, proficient in Microsoft Office 365 suite and online fundraising platforms (iMIS and Salesforce experience preferred)
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, donation processing and maintaining accurate records on supporter and donor activity
Must hold a current driver’s licence, working with Children’s Check and police clearance
