Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Assistant Coordinators to assist with managing our services and providing engaging programs for our primary-age children. These permanent part-time opportunities offer between 20-30 hours per week (guaranteed minimum) to assist with leading a team of passionate Educators.

These roles are available across the Perth metropolitan area. Submit your application now, and we'll work with you to find the best service, team, role and area to match you!

You will work across split shifts to support the service’s operating hours of Monday – Friday, 6:50am – 8:50am (Rise then Shine Program) and 2:30pm – 6:00pm (Stay and Play Program). You can pick up extra hours during the school holidays too!

About the role

Get ready for an exciting opportunity to co-manage a dynamic team of Educators, where you’ll experience the perfect blend of support and leadership growth! You’ll lead a vibrant before and after-school program at a primary school, guiding children aged 5-12 through fun and enriching activities. With the backing of a dedicated state-specific office and the mentorship of regional managers who visit regularly, you’ll be empowered to shine in your role while developing your skills as a leader. It’s your chance to make a real impact while being part of a supportive, high-energy team!

Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into!
Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents
Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management
Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration

Who are we looking for?

We can teach you about the job and sector, but a few basics you need to have:

✔️ Enjoys working with children and making a positive impact
✔️ Communicates clearly and confidently
✔️ Works well in a team and aspires to grow into a leadership role
✔️ Holds (or is willing to obtain) a National Police Check and a Working with Children check
✔️ Has Australian work rights
✔️ Obtained or studying towards a relevant qualification to work with kids in OSHC per ACECQA
