Carpenter ( Leading hand) – Full-Time

Savo Constructions Pty Ltd is looking for an experienced Carpenter ( Leading hand ) to join our team.

We work across NSW and VIC on residential renovations, extensions and new builds.

Accommodation is provided when working away in these locations.

This role would suit someone who is reliable, well-organised, takes pride in their workmanship, and is confident running a small carpentry team.

The role

Your duties will include:

Running a small carpentry team on residential projects ( Leading hand )
Working closely with the Project Manager to complete projects efficiently and on schedule
Reading and interpreting plans, scopes of work and site instructions
Coordinating daily site tasks, materials and subcontractors where required
Ensuring work is completed to a high standard and in line with Australian Standards
Maintaining safe and clean work environments
Following and maintaining SWMS and safe work procedures
Keeping good communication and a positive team culture on site
Working independently when required
