Job Summary: We’re seeking reliable and detail-oriented housekeeping team members to work across our two vibrant properties in the heart of Flinders: Quarters at Flinders Hotel and the newly refurbished, design-focused Motel Flinders. With flexible hours available (up to 20-30 per week) casual, you’ll play an important role in maintaining our high standards of cleanliness and comfort, ensuring every guest enjoys a welcoming and memorable stay.
About Us: Quarters at Flinders Hotel is an award-winning, 40-room boutique hotel offering luxury coastal accommodation on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula. Directly opposite is Motel Flinders, our freshly renovated motel where retro style meets coastal cool. We’re proud to offer our guests warm, genuine service in a relaxed coastal setting, and we’re looking for team members who share that passion.
The Role: Reporting to the Housekeeping Supervisor and the Duty Manager, our housekeeping staff are responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of accommodation rooms exceed guest expectations. To be successful in this position, you will have excellent attention to detail and pride yourself on the ability to deliver a cleaned room that epitomises luxury and comfort for our guests.
Key responsibilities:
- Cleaning guest rooms and ensuite bathrooms, hotel public areas, and storage areas
- Ensuring guest rooms are cleaned to our deluxe accommodation brand standards
- Replenishing guest amenities
- Maintaining strict privacy and security procedures
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous Housekeeping experience preferred but not essential
- Ability to complete you work in a timely manner within a set schedule
- A great team player who is willing to dive in to assist others when needed
- Great communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and high level of cleanliness
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Availability to work across a rotating 7-day roster, including weekends and public holidays
