Your new role:
As the Senior Social Worker (Clinical Educator), you will provide advanced clinical social work services while supporting workforce capability, clinical education and service development across Allied Health.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality evidence-based social work services within a multidisciplinary healthcare setting
Provide clinical education, supervision and support to clinicians, students and Allied Health Assistants
Lead and contribute to quality improvement, service development and evidence-based practice initiatives
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support integrated, patient-centred care outcomes
About you:
You are a skilled and compassionate social work professional with strong clinical expertise, leadership capability and a passion for education and continuous improvement.
Skills & Experience
Demonstrated experience delivering complex clinical social work services in a healthcare environment
Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
Proven ability to mentor, supervise and support developing clinicians and students
Tertiary qualification in Social Work with eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.
We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.
Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
