Redcape Hospitality is looking for an Assistant Manager to join the leadership team at Flagstone Tavern — a high-volume, community-driven venue where strong operators lead from the front, take ownership of shifts, and drive performance across the entire operation.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll work across bar, bistro and gaming, keeping service moving, standards high, and the team performing during busy trade — with strong support from an experienced Venue Manager who backs their leaders.

About the role

Reporting to the Venue Manager, you’ll be part of the leadership team responsible for the day-to-day operations of the hotel.

What you’ll do

Run shifts across bar, bistro and gaming operations
Lead, coach and support your team during service
Maintain service flow, standards and guest experience during high-volume trade
Manage cash handling, reporting and daily reconciliation
Support stock control, labour management and compliance requirements
Work with the leadership team to lift performance and strengthen team culture

What we’re looking for

Leadership experience in a busy pub or high-volume venue
Hands-on operator confident running shifts from the floor
Strong understanding of multi-department operations (bar, bistro, functions & gaming)
Ability to coach, develop and lift team performance
Calm, organised and consistent under pressure
Availability across days, nights, weekends and public holidays.
RSA / RSG required; RMLV and Approved Manager licence preferred (or willingness to obtain)
