Position Overview
Our Sales Representatives provide specialist support and machinery recommendations based on customer needs and individual operations, working with current industry trends, predicting sales requirements and continually expanding your knowledge of the John Deere product and the agricultural industry within the Finley area of responsibility (AOR).
What You’ll Be Doing

Represent Hutcheon & Pearce in machinery sales, building lasting relationships with customers.
- Stay informed on product features, benefits, and competitive offerings.
- Engage in ongoing sales training to sharpen your skills and industry knowledge.
- Maintain accurate customer records using sales tools like EQUIP, Handle, and Sales Centre.
- Follow a structured sales process to ensure smooth and successful transactions.
- Conduct hands-on equipment demonstrations in the field.
- Assist customers with financing options to secure new and used equipment.
- Support customers beyond the sale, working with Service Specialists to optimise equipment performance.
What You’ll Bring

1+ years equipment sales experience.
- Knowledge of agricultural or turf equipment and farming or operational practices preferred.
- Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and Internet functions.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- Excellent customer relationship skills.
- Ability to analyse and interpret basic sales reports.
- Attention to detail.
