Welcome to Little Navigators Early Learning Centre – Everton Park!
We are a purpose built 75 place early learning centre dedicated to providing a vibrant, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. Our focus is on fostering a love for learning through play and exploration, while supporting the families within our community.
Position Overview:
Little Navigators Early Learning opened in October 2024. As we are now growing in children's enrolments, we are looking for Certificate III and Diploma Qualified | Assistant Educators both Casual and Part Time to join our team.
As an Assistant, you will support the daily activities of the centre, ensuring that every child feels valued and engaged in their learning journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of age-appropriate activities and programs.
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and transitions, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Support the lead educators in maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social and emotional development.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing updates on their child’s activities.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
Qualifications:
- Completed a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education
- Passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to changing situations.
- Hold a current First Aid and CPR, Anaphylaxis, Safe Sleep Training and Child Protection Certification and Blue Card.
