About the Role
Reporting to the Events Manager, the Events Team Leader plays a key role in the successful delivery of conferences, functions and events.
This is an exciting leadership position responsible for supervising event service staff, ensuring function spaces are set up to standard, and delivering exceptional customer service at all times.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and supervising Events Attendants during service
- Ensuring function rooms are set up according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)
- Delivering outstanding customer service and managing enquiries
- Allocating tasks and monitoring team performance
- Maintaining high service, grooming and presentation standards
- Resolving customer and staff issues in a professional manner
- Ensuring compliance with RSA, RCG, WHS and club policies
- Monitoring stock levels, cleanliness and overall event readiness
About You
You are a motivated hospitality professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for events and customer service.
You will bring:
- Proven experience in events, functions or hospitality (essential)
- Previous supervisory or team leader experience (highly regarded)
- Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills
- A proactive, hands-on approach in fast-paced environments
- Current RSA & RCG competency cards (essential)
- Current Senior First Aid Certificate
- Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
- Professional presentation aligned with club standards
