About the role:
As a Mechanical Fitter, you’ll deliver technical maintenance, fault finding and repair across key plant systems, including chemical and water treatment assets. Working alongside operators and maintenance teams, you’ll support safe, reliable and efficient plant performance while contributing to ongoing improvement initiatives.

- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to maximise plant reliability and efficiency
- Maintain and prioritise work backlog in line with operational requirements
- Support plant upgrades, modifications and commissioning activities
- Mentor apprentices and contribute to a strong team safety culture
What will you bring?
- Mechanical trade qualification with strong post-trade experience in heavy industry
- Solid fault-finding and problem-solving capability across mechanical systems
- Proven commitment to safety in industrial environments
- Experience working with maintenance systems and prioritising tasks effectively
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to meet changing work demands
