Graphic Designer (Casual | Remote - Melbourne Preferred)

We are actively seeking a designer who has a versatile skillset across a range of lifestyle and corporate industries, including:

You will be instrumental in elevating client narratives, bringing your unique touch to our clients' digital presences.

The Opportunity & Commitment

This is a remote, casual position offering a high-growth, ground-floor opportunity with an initial commitment of approximately 4–8 hours per week.

As we are a growing agency, our project load is dynamic; the ideal candidate should be comfortable with hours that scale up based on client needs and campaign deadlines. Our goal is to scale this role alongside our client roster, with the pathway to transition this into a permanent part-time position as we expand.

Note: While this is a remote role, our team is Melbourne-based and we love to meet up from time-to-time to celebrate wins, catch up for coffee, etc. While attending is optional, we value teammates who love to get involved when possible!

Core Responsibilities

Visual Identity Development: Design distinct visual identities, logo suites, and comprehensive brand guidelines.
Platform-Native Design: Execute highly-curated, platform-native design assets, including social media carousels, engaging templates, and static digital graphics.
Creative Illustrations: Produce custom illustrations tailored to specific client brand tones and project requirements.
Collaboration & Strategy: Collaborate seamlessly with our team of creatives and strategists to ensure all content is strategically sound and aligned with client objectives.

Your Core Skillset To be successful at Aria Mac, you’ll bring a blend of technical skills, strategic thinking, and great energy.

Hard Skills:

Design Software Proficiency: Full professional proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign are essential). Familiarity with Canva for client-facing templates is a plus.
Visual Mastery: A robust portfolio that showcases technical excellence in typography, spatial awareness, and strategic layout design.
Strategic Acumen: An understanding of marketing strategy and the 'why' behind commercial design.

Bonus Expertise (Not required, but we’d love it):

Experience in motion graphics/animation.
Web design experience (Framer, Shopify, Squarespace).
Post-production photography or video editing/colour grading.

Autonomy & Reliability: A proven ability to work autonomously from a digital brief and consistently meet tight deadlines.
Collaborative Spirit: A friendly, personable, and proactive approach to teamwork.

Passion & Curiosity: A deep love for visual culture and a drive to constantly evolve. You are naturally curious, always expanding your creative toolkit, and eager to push visual boundaries rather than play it safe.
